Program Overview

BSC's major in musical theatre provides students with a combination of courses in dance, music, and theatre in order to prepare them for performance careers. With an emphasis on acting, ballet, voice, piano, jazz, and music theory, the musical theatre major is more specialized than the theatre major. In order to officially declare a major in musical theatre, students must successfully complete a Sophomore Review at the end of their second year in the program.
