The degree of Bachelor of Science in Education, with certification to teach music in the public schools, requires successful completion of 120 semester hours, including: (1) the General Education Program; (2) the Professional Education Component; and (3) the requirements associated with the certification for Music PreK-Adult. This degree qualifies graduates for certification to teach music at the preschool, elementary, middle-school and high-school level.
Application At least a 2.0 grade-point average and either a composite ACT score of 18 or a combined SAT score of 960. Applicants must provide official copies of academic records from all secondary, pre-university programs, and colleges/universities attended. TOEFL iBT: 60 or IELTS 6.0 overall.
