Concord University

Concord University is based in Athens, West Virginia. The university is a public university that was founded in the year 1872. 

Concord University History

Initially, Concord University started as a school with only 70 students. In 1931, it changed its name from school to Concord State Teachers College. Soon in 1935, it became Concord College. The college over the year went through so many developments and added more buildings to the campus. Finally, in 2004 it gained the status of a university and became Concord University.
