Students are admitted to the Performance program by completing the formal application and audition process. First year students are expected to attain a minimum QPA of 2.0 or better in all classes. Sophomores and above should have a QPA of 2.25 overall and a 3.0 average for all music classes. All performance majors who have been awarded a School of Music scholarship are expected to maintain a QPA of 3.0 every semester of enrollment. Any student failing to meet these expected standards will be subject to the university academic student standing guidelines that are stated in the academic policies section of this catalog.
