At Illinois State University, we are proud to offer the Bachelor of Science in Music Business degree. The sequence is intended for those who wish to pursue a career in business professions related to music. In addition to the core music requirements, students need to complete 25 hours of coursework in the School of Music and the nationally recognized College of Business.The Music Business degree enables students to develop their musical skills while preparing them to become leaders, thinkers, and creators in the new music industry.

Profile Assessment: Creative-field applicants may be assessed through academic preparation, creative ability, visual thinking and, where required, a portfolio. The portfolio may include finished work as well as sketches, experimentation, process development and written explanations. Architecture may value Mathematics, Physics, drawing and spatial thinking, while Art, Design and Fashion programs may place greater emphasis on originality, technical development and the creative process.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
