Program Overview

The Bachelor of Music with a major in Theory is structured to provide a strong foundation in the academic study of music theory: its form and analysis, counterpoint, analytical techniques, and composition. Students are admitted to the program on the basis of an interview with the music composition and theory faculty at the end of their second year of study.
