Recently-released CPA exams show that more than two-thirds of BSC students passed the CPA exam on the first try---compared to a national average of 48.8%. As well as learning everything you need to succeed as an accountant, you'll get the tools that will propel you upwards professionally, including critical thinking, analytical, and presentation skills. You'll be able to serve in an internship in a local accounting firm for your senior capstone; you'll also get opportunities before graduating to meet representatives for well-known firms, attend presentations by accounting leaders, and visit local offices.
