Program Overview

The agricultural education major is designed to prepare students to teach agricultural education for grades 5-12. All graduates in Agricultural Education will complete a 12-week teaching internship to qualify for a Minnesota teaching license in grades 5-12 Agricultural Education and Coordinator of Work-Based Learning. When you pursue the agricultural education major at the U of M, you'll be licensed and prepared to teach agriscience, agribusiness, animal science, horticulture, food science, agricultural mechanics, and natural resource science.

Transcripts from the previously attended schools, High school transcripts, English language profeciency test scores (minimum score of 79 for TOEFL and 6.5 for IELTS and 59 for PTE), SAT and ACT test scores.
