4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
Georgetown University’s International Business Major, offered through the McDonough School of Business, prepares students to succeed in global and cross-cultural business environments. The program offers two specialized tracks: International Business Regional Studies and International Political Economy and Business (IPEB). Both tracks combine rigorous business education with interdisciplinary coursework, foreign language proficiency, and experiential learning focused on global business dynamics.
Students build deep understanding of international markets, regional economies, global political systems, and trade policy, supported by Georgetown’s location in Washington, D.C. and its network of global institutions. The curriculum also emphasizes communication across cultures, ethical business practices, and economic development, positioning graduates for international roles in consulting, finance, NGOs, multinationals, or government agencies.
