Year 1: Students begin with professional and quantitative foundations through Business Administration 101H: Professional Development and Career Planning, Business Administration 324H: Business Communications, and Management 101H: Leadership Challenges & Innovation. Year 2: Students move into core business disciplines through Accounting 311H: Financial Accounting, Accounting 312H: Managerial Accounting, and Management 327H: Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Year 3: The third year develops deeper expertise in financial, marketing and organizational decision-making through Finance 357H: Business Finance, Marketing 337H: Principles of Marketing, and Management 336H: Organizational Behavior. Students can also use this stage to pursue an additional business major, another academic field or approved electives, depending on their degree plan.
Year 4: Students complete advanced business study through Legal Environment of Business 323H: Business Law and Ethics and Management 374H: General Management and Strategy, while completing remaining major, elective and Core Curriculum requirements. The flexible structure can also accommodate additional academic interests, and students may complete internship credit through BA 353 as part of an approved degree plan.
