Curriculum Structure
The Global Business major combines the Gabelli School’s business core, liberal arts core, a primary concentration, and electives. Students can tailor their studies to their interests while developing an understanding of international markets, business strategy, and cross-cultural decision-making.
Year 1 – Building a Business Foundation
Students begin by developing essential skills in business, mathematics, communication, and the liberal arts. Courses such as Principles of Financial Accounting, Information Systems I and II, and Statistical Decision Making introduce financial reporting, business technology, and analytical thinking.
