The MILR is a two-year, on-campus degree based in Ithaca, NY, designed for people who aspire to HR and Labor leadership roles. It’s a professional degree for people ready to tackle the issues of organizational success, employee well-being, and labor relations. MILR covers leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution. This degree brings both the theoretical and the practical into focus. Mathematics is particularly important for Finance, Economics, Business Analytics and other quantitative programs. Entrepreneurship, business competitions, investment or economics clubs, internships, case studies, market research and community projects may strengthen the profile.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school. Relevant APs can strengthen an application and may earn university credit, but are not compulsory unless the university or programme explicitly requires them.Extracurricular activities: Estimated extracurricular contribution: 15–25%. Cornell considers activities alongside academic rigour, essays, recommendations and alignment with the selected Cornell college.
