The Marketing major at UGA is future-oriented. Students take courses in consumer behavior, marketing research and strategy, sales management, analytics, digital marketing, social media, promotion, advertising, and many others to gain an understanding of the analytical methods and research procedures used in identifying and solving marketing problems in the ever-changing marketing world. Two areas of emphasis are available: Professional Selling and Digital Marketing. Coursework is bolstered by the student organization Pi Sigma Epsilon which offers business contacts, leadership experience, and social interaction
