Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems at UIUC’s Gies College of Business prepares students to design, implement, and secure technology systems that support organizational goals in an increasingly digital world. The program emphasizes both technical and strategic capabilities, producing graduates who can bridge the communication gap between business leaders and IT teams. Students gain hands-on experience in areas such as systems design, data analytics, cyber security, and project management.

  • Year 4: Business strategy, IS electives, general education, and free electives
