The Department of Computer Science offers courses leading to a B.S. degree with a major in computer science with an optional concentration in either cybersecurity, data science, or artificial intelligence. The department also offers a minor in computer science. Our B.S. degree program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (CAC/ABET).
Application 10th and 12th Grade: Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Official Transcripts TOEFL iBT: 61 or IELTS 6.0 overall. Provide a standardized exam result (ACT or SAT) Financial Statement to show evidence of adequate funds Health Certificate against Tuberculosis US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Applicants are generally expected to demonstrate strong quantitative ability, particularly in Mathematics. Advanced Calculus, Statistics, Computer Science or Physics can support academic preparation. Coding projects, applications, websites, hackathons, research, data-analysis projects and technology-based solutions may demonstrate technical curiosity and practical ability. Previous coding experience is helpful but is not compulsory at every university.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
