Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Information (BSI) at UMSI is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students to analyze data, design technology, and understand the social implications of information systems. This degree uniquely combines technical skills such as programming and data analysis with a strong foundation in human behavior, ethics, and communication. Students learn how information, technology, and people intersect, with a focus on designing systems that are accessible, effective, and socially responsible.
