Program Overview

The Bachelor of Music with a major in Music Education prepares students to teach general, choral, and instrumental to grades K-12. It provides a broad base of general studies, applied music, music theory, and music history and literature; an internship supplements course work. Students choose from one or more emphases: (1) Choral Music Education - voice or piano concentration; or (2) Instrumental Music Education - piano, band instrument, or orchestral instrument concentration.
