For students planning to pursue careers as music teachers or choral directors in elementary and secondary schools, this degree provides the pedagogical and musical training necessary for effective careers in education. Our Music Education - Choral degree program will blend theory and instruction with hands-on, immersive practices. Students develop their creative talents while they learn how to educate the next generation.

Application 10th and 12th Grade: Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) GPA 3.0 out of 4.0 scale Official Transcripts TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in each . Provide a standardized exam result (ACT or SAT) Financial Statement to show evidence of adequate funds Health Certificate against Tuberculosis Music Education Majors are required to complete a supplemental essay or video. Your essay should be about 500 words long, and answer the following questions:  Why do you want to be a music educator? Who or what may have inspired your decision to become a music educator? What specific skills and/or personality traits do you possess that may contribute to your success as a music educator? Alternatively, students may record a 2–3-minute video to answer these questions and copy a YouTube, Dropbox, or Google Drive link directly into their application.  Music Education applicants are required to submit one letter of recommendation with their application. Audition: Undergraduate Music Education applicants are required to audition on a primary instrument.
