The CIF (Curriculum, Instruction, & Foundations) Program includes elementary, secondary, educational foundations, and educational computing for pre-service teachers. The elementary program is designed for those interested in teaching K-6. Students receive broad content knowledge in the core academic areas as well as in the art and science of teaching children.
Completed application for admission, A high school diploma (official transcript with graduation date required), An Overall Grade Point Average of at least 2.00 on a 4.00 scale and a composite score of at least 19 on the ACT or SAT equivalent; OR an Overall Grade Point Average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and a composite score of at least 16 on the ACT or SAT equivalent, Test scores: Internet-based TOEFL score of 78 or higher, Paper-based TOEFL score of 547 or higher, IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, MELAB - minimum score of 79%.
