If you want to help children achieve an active lifestyle, then grow your teaching ability and skills with us! Our physical education program will prepare you to teach physical education in grades K-12.
You will study exercise, learn how to instruct, and get hands-on experience working with youth. You will understand different theories of instruction, such as the Sport Education Model, and apply them at various grade levels. You will have several opportunities to work with children with disabilities.
US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Applicants are generally assessed on their preparation in English, social sciences, research and quantitative reasoning. Statistics may be particularly helpful for Psychology, Education Research, Public Policy and other research-based programs.
