BS Athletic Training

Students who plan to major in athletic training must be admitted to the Athletic Training Program (ATP). Admission is based on a competitive application process. The student s grade point average and completion of prescribed coursework are factors in the admission decision. Applicants must also participate in the Directed Observation Program, meet a set of technical standards, pass a health assessment/physical examination, provide proof of immunizations and vaccinations, submit letters of recommendation, and submit additional application documents.
