As a biomedical engineering major, you'll learn engineering principles and apply them to the needs of the health care industry. You'll learn how to design new medical equipment, procedures and software. You'll get hands-on experience through internships and research projects. When you graduate, you'll be in demand by hospitals, electronic companies, manufacturing firms and other organizations.
