At Western New England University, students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering. This concentration is well-suited for students planning a career in environmental engineering, water resources engineering, or geotechnical engineering. The curriculum for the first two years is the same for all civil engineering students, so a student can wait until the end of sophomore year to decide on the environmental engineering concentration. Students in this concentration take fewer traditional civil engineering courses and more environmentally-related courses.
