The Marshall University Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) program objectives are the following: B.S.E. graduates will be recognized for their success in designing engineering systems that promote the health, safety, and welfare of the public. The B.S.E. graduate demonstrate their awareness of an engineer s role in contemporary society and their understanding of the societal and environmental contexts of engineering projects. The B.S.E. graduates will practice in specific areas of engineering consistent with the needs of the region served by Marshall University.
Completed application for admission, A high school diploma (official transcript with graduation date required), An Overall Grade Point Average of at least 2.00 on a 4.00 scale and a composite score of at least 19 on the ACT or SAT equivalent; OR an Overall Grade Point Average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and a composite score of at least 16 on the ACT or SAT equivalent, Test scores: Internet-based TOEFL score of 78 or higher, Paper-based TOEFL score of 547 or higher, IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, MELAB - minimum score of 79%.
