Western New England University s new Civil Engineering major focuses on the latest advances in the design, construction, and maintenance of society s infrastructure roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, water treatment and supply networks, and environmental systems. The Civil Engineering concentration provides a solid foundation in major sub-disciplines of civil engineering that leads to employment in both private and public sectors of industry or military. The Civil Engineering concentration is well-suited for students planning a career in structural engineering, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering, or water resources engineering.

Minimum Level of Education required is atleast Grade 12 or High School or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), Require equivalent of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, Official high school transcript accompanied by an English translation of the document,Submit an Affidavit of Support form, Official SAT (Crit. Reading of 450) or ACT (Verbal Score of 18) scores, Provide financial documentation, A recommendation from a guidance counselor or teacher, Certified copy of your orginal diploma, Certified copy of your complete list of grade,Additional 4 units English, 1 unit laboratory science and 1 unit physics or chemistry (preferably both), 1 unit United States history,4 units mathematics, A minimum English proficiency of 79 IBTin TOEFL, 6 in IELTS, 53 in PTE.
