As a TCU engineering major, you ll become a well-rounded engineer with practical experience and sound technical understanding. You ll practice communication, teamwork and systems-level thinking in lecture and laboratory courses.Lead your own engineering company in the senior year capstone design project, where you ll work as a team with your classmates to design and produce a product on time and within budget for a real client like Alcon Laboratories, Bell Helicopter Textron, Lockheed-Martin Aeronautics or GE Transportation.Conduct research with faculty as early as your freshman year, in areas like microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and smart sensing and control devices and systems, then help write and present your findings at conferences.Pursue either an electrical or mechanical emphasis to build upon your solid understanding of sound engineering principles
