Environmental engineers use the principles of engineering, basic science, and mathematics to develop solutions to critical environmental challenges. The program provides a comprehensive education with special emphasis on the demands of water pollution, air pollution, water and waste-water treatment, solid and hazardous waste management and treatment. The comprehensive curriculum covers emerging environmental issues, including sustainable air, water, and land resources, human health, and environmental restoration.
