Benedictine University and the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) have partnered for thirty years to offer students a unique opportunity to earn an engineering degree while attending a liberal arts university. This program offers students the chance to take advantage of the strengths of both schools while earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Engineering Science from Benedictine and a Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Engineering from IIT. The liberal arts educated graduate is better prepared to compete in an environment where communication skills are rapidly becoming as important as technical ability.
