Benedictine University History

Benedictine University is a private university located in Lisle, Illinois. It was established in the year in 1887 as St. Procopius College by the Benedictine monks of St. Procopius Abbey in Pilsen community on the West Side of Chicago.

Goodwin College of Business provide the facilities of undergraduate and graduate business programs and doctorate programs in Organization and Values-Driven Leadership. The University also has a library which holds 10,000 international periodicals.

Benedictine University Achievements

Benedictine University, Professor Peter Sorensen was honored with the Organization Development Network’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in the year 2017. Namporn Thanetsunthorn (with Therese Yaeger and Peter Sorensen) was awarded Outstanding Paper on Ethical Issues in Consulting by the Academy of Management in the year 2015. Dawn Newman, with Yaeger, Sorensen, and Hinrichs, received the Best Scholar-Practitioner Collaboration Award from the Management Consulting Division of the Academy of Management in the year 2014.
