Program Overview

Mills offers a unique 3+2 program in engineering with UC Berkeley, in which students spend three years at Mills and two at UC Berkeley, at the end of which students will have completed a BA in Environmental Science and a BS in Civil Engineering. Civil Engineers help build infrastructure and solve environmental problems, including improving recycling and waste disposal processes and improving public health through building better water supply systems. Students in this program have the opportunity to complete their basic science and mathematics coursework in small, supportive classes, while also completing upper division engineering coursework at one of the top engineering schools in the country.
