Mills College at Northeastern is a Northeastern University college located in Oakland, California, United States.
Mills College History
Mills College was founded in 1852 in Benicia, California as the Young Ladies Seminary; in 1871, Mills College moved to Oakland and became the first women's college west of the Rockies. Mills College revealed its intention to combine with Northeastern University in 2021. The proposed merger was defeated in court, and the merger was completed in 2022.

Mills College provides nearly 60 undergraduate programs in a variety of major and minor subjects. There are also a few accelerated degree programs available. Sciences, Arts, Business, Humanities, and Social Sciences are among the primary subjects available.

Mills College Campus is a 135-acre campus in Oakland, California, located on the eastern bank of San Francisco Bay. The campus contains a mix of old and new buildings, as well as green structures that house all of the schools, graduate schools, residence halls, and offices.

Mills College Library is also known as the F.W. Olin Library. The F.W. Olin Library has a collection of nearly 240,000 books and other media, with a focus on literature, history, women's studies, art, and music. It also provides access to over 60 online databases, including Academic Search, LexisNexis, PsycINFO, Sociological Abstracts, MEDLINE, ERIC, MLA Bibliography, Contemporary Women's Issues, Britannica Online, Biography Resource Center, and ScienceDirect, among others. The library has 280 study and workstations, a listening-viewing room with fully equipped audio-visual stations, and a lecture room. MINERVA, the library's online catalogue, is available throughout the building and over the internet and is open 88.5 hours a week.

Mills College offers numerous student societies. The board supervises and distributes an annual budget that supports more than 70 student societies, student newspapers, campus-wide events, and numerous student initiatives under the control of a student-drafted Constitution. ASMC represents the student body of the college administration.
Mills College sports and fitness
Mills College has an on-campus sports and fitness center. Mills College students, professors, employees, and alumni can use the fitness center. To get admission to the facilities, all users must provide a Mills College ID or alumni card along with a photo ID. Recent grads may use their Mills College ID cards from the previous year to visit the fitness center until alumnae cards become available at the Alumnae House in October after graduation.

Mills College offers its students the greatest possible residential life. Traditional-age, first-year students are introduced to the Mills community through a Themed Housing Community centered on a common passion. During the autumn semester, teachers, students, and a specially allocated member of the Division of Student Life may attend lectures, films, museum exhibitions, or other extracurricular activities relating to their community's major theme.
