BE Engineering

4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Queens College

Program Overview

The pre-engineering program is organized by the Physics Department. Qualified students spend three years at Queens College and then transfer to an engineering school. Under the terms of a 3-2 agreement with Columbia University, successful students who wish to attend Columbia's engineering school gain automatic acceptance to it. At the completion of this program, the student can receive two degrees: a BA from Queens College and a BS in engineering from Columbia. The low cost of Queens College's tuition makes its pre-engineering program highly cost-effective.
