A Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering is an accredited four-year program of study, which requires 128 credit hours. Our program prepares students for professional careers in all areas of engineering. It also prepares students for graduate study in mechanical engineering or related fields.
Secondary/High School or College/University transcripts along with Diploma or Leaving Certificate, Financial Documentation, Passport identification page, SAT/ACT standardized exams are optional, though highly recommended, English Language requirement: TOEFL IBT: 79, TOEFL Paper-Based: 550, IELTS: 6.5 overall, GRE verbal reasoning: 150, GRE verbal: 480, SAT critical reading: 480, SAT reading test: 26, GCSE or GCE: O level pass in English; CPE: C or higher, PTE Academic Test: 53 US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Engineering applicants are generally assessed on the strength of their preparation in advanced Mathematics and laboratory sciences, particularly Physics and Chemistry. Calculus, technical projects, robotics, engineering competitions, research and evidence of practical problem-solving can strengthen the application. Universities may also look for creativity, teamwork and the ability to apply scientific concepts to real-world challenges.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
