Program Overview

The mission of the Mechanical Engineering program is to provide excellent educational experience for its students, with an emphasis on preparing graduates for professional practice in engineering and/or graduate school. The undergraduate turbomachinery concentration is tailored for those who wish to broaden their knowledge in the area of aerodynamic and thermodynamic fundamentals applicable to turbomachinery. Also, there is significant need in turbomachinery related to jobs in the engineering market in general and in local industry (United Technologies Companies) in particular.

Completed High School with a score of 70% (out of 100), IELTS of 6.0, TOEFL ibT of 80, Pearsons of 58, Letters of Recommendation, GCSE or GCE English Pass (syllabus A) with grade of A, B or C, Mathematics, Natural/Physical Science and Social Science, GPA of 2.75 (out of 4.0), IB English A1 or A2 with grade of 3 or higher, Academic Records and transcripts, IB English A1 or A2 with grade of 3 or higher, SAT Evidence based reading / writing 480 or higher.
