Program Overview

Robotics Engineering students at WPI do much more than actually study robots they build them, interact with them, explore their design and function, and push them to their limits. As the first university in the nation to offer an undergraduate degree in Robotics Engineering and one of the first to offer graduate degrees in Robotics Engineering, our program is built with aspiring robotics professionals in mind. Only at WPI will you find this hands-on approach that combines expert knowledge with real-world applications.If you re already a student in FIRST, you re in good company and you may also be eligible to apply for one or more WPI scholarships. WPI faculty and students designed and wrote WPILib, the FRC Control System software used by all of the nearly 1,700 FIRST teams.
