Program Overview

In the Creative Writing concentration, you will practice writing in various literary genres, learn traditional forms of expression as well as experimental approaches and develop your own style. In a supportive workshop environment, students respond to each other s work and develop comprehensive individual portfolios of writing by the end of each semester. You can select workshops from the following genres: poetry, fiction, playwriting, screenwriting, memoir and the personal essay.
