Bachelors in Earth Science

4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

SUNY Brockport

Program Overview

There’s still so much to discover about the little planet we call home. In Earth Science, you’ll gain interdisciplinary knowledge across the fields of geology, meteorology, and hydrology, learning how the earth, the atmosphere, and water interact within themselves and with each other.

The Earth Science program offers a flexible and broadly-based program of study across geology, meteorology, and hydrology.

By supplementing their coursework with electives or a minor, students may structure their study towards more specialized areas like journalism, technical writing, business, or graduate study in geography, resource management, urban planning, or museum science.

This major offers a flexible and broadly based program of study that is well suited for students who are preparing for a career in environmental regulation, resource management or park service.
