The Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies degree is designed to provide students with a multidisciplinary educational approach regarding environmental issues, and fosters system-thinking skills. The curriculum focuses on the interfaces between human and natural systems; includes key concepts from the natural sciences, social sciences, applied sciences and the humanities; and promotes understanding of both the sociopolitical and natural aspects of environmental problems. A large and increasing portion of environmental jobs are based in non-science, environmentally related fields - such as legal or consulting positions and a wide range of management and government position - that include a significant social or human relations component.
