The study of Movement Science provides a comprehensive understanding of human movement applied, health-related, clinical, and theoretical aspects of how the body functions. You can enter a variety of settings where you ll work with people to improve and maintain their health and function through physical activity.Gain a body of knowledge about human movement and prepare for graduate study, leading to careers in movement-based allied health professions.Study and research all areas of kinesiology: adapted physical activity, motor behavior, exercise physiology, sport psychology, and biomechanics.Supplement your classroom learning with internships in physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, and fitness.Get hands-on experience and conduct research side-by-side with faculty in one of the five departmental laboratories.
