The Major with an Ancient Greek Language and Literature concentration is intended for students who wish to study ancient Greek literature and language and gain access to foundational writings of the western world. No prior experience in languages (or grammar) is necessary or assumed. The emphasis is on reading and translating, rather than on speaking.
