"Studying language, literature and culture is by nature interdisciplinary.Professors are interested in educating the whole student, not merely to teach material within a narrow range of knowledge.The French Department at Coe College has a certain je ne sais quoi with its wide range of subjects for me to learn about, ranging from history, literature, translation, film, and many more things. I was able to expand my knowledge of the French language and culture through both studying and traveling to Paris with the May term the department offers. Without the opportunities the French department offered me, I wouldn't be who I am today."""

Additional Information & Requirements

Under Coe's test-optional policy, ACT/SAT scores are not required for students applying for admission. The test-optional policy gives select students the option to decide if their standardized test scores (ACT/SAT) will be considered in the application review process. Students applying under the test-optional policy will still be considered for a Trustee Scholarship valued at $28,000 per year. Only students applying as first-year applicants with a 3.0 GPA or higher may choose to exclude their test score from the application process.
