Program Overview

Spoken by more 200 million people on five continents, French is a globally important language of trade, culture and political systems and it is the second most commonly taught language in the world. French students at W&J learn the skills necessary to communicate in culturally appropriate ways with French speakers of diverse francophone communities. Courses range from beginning language to advanced topical seminars and immerse students in discovering “la francophonie.”
