It offers excellent infrastructure facilities, including residential facilities, to the students. The Washington and Jefferson College has eleven residence halls on the Willamette campus. Undergraduate students are contracted to live on campus for two years, after which they may move into private residences or one of the university's apartment complexes. Lausanne Hall, originally home of the university's Women's College, is now one of the university's undergraduate dormitories. The building commemorates the ship that brought the reinforcements to Lee in 1839. York Hall commemorates the university's first graduate.
Washington and Jefferson College has hundreds of student-run clubs and organizations covering various personal and professional interests. Each club allows the student to be involved in campus activities and connect with students with similar interests. The Washington and Jefferson College health and wellness center is devoted to the physical and mental well-being of the students. Students can get involved in the numerous sports available on campus, including volleyball, baseball, cricket, golf, basketball, soccer, and many others, to keep themselves fit and energetic. The team of counselors is also there to understand the mental challenges during student life and provide better solutions for that.


Washington and Jefferson College part-time jobs are available as student assistants, associates, and other work-study programs. These positions are not eligible for tuition or stipend benefits. Students can get $125 per week in Work Study Programs. The hours of working are limited to 16 hours a week only. Students can get jobs with the help of the Career Service Office or at Handshake.

To apply for a bachelor's program at Washington and Jefferson College, you need to submit several key documents:
Completed Application: You can apply via the Common Application, W&J's own application, or the Coalition on Scoir.
High School Transcript: A record of your academic performance, including GPA and class rank.
Standardized Test Scores (Optional): SAT or ACT scores are optional, as the college has a score-optional policy.
Personal Statement: A 250-500 word essay that offers insight into your personal background and goals.
Letters of Recommendation (Optional): One from a teacher or counselor is recommended.
Co-Curricular Involvement: A list of activities and accomplishments during high school is encouraged
