German increases the cultural and linguistic awareness of students, helping them fulfill the University Studies and B.A. requirements, and prepare them for language examinations in graduate school. Modern language courses develop skills and provide information and experience that help prepare students for citizenship in a rapidly changing world. Students who have previously studied German (in high school or abroad) may receive up to 12 hours of college credit for their knowledge and begin at a more appropriate level, saving time and money.
