Program Overview

The Spanish program offers basic courses of Spanish language and upper level courses about advanced grammar, conversation and composition, as well as courses on culture, literature, films, and other topics (300 and 400 levels). The section has qualified professors from Latin America, Europe, and the US. Thank to this diversity students are exposed to different dialectal accents and vocabulary, as well as to first hand experiences from different regions.

Completed application for admission, A high school diploma (official transcript with graduation date required), An Overall Grade Point Average of at least 2.00 on a 4.00 scale and a composite score of at least 19 on the ACT or SAT equivalent; OR an Overall Grade Point Average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale and a composite score of at least 16 on the ACT or SAT equivalent, Test scores: Internet-based TOEFL score of 78 or higher, Paper-based TOEFL score of 547 or higher, IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, MELAB - minimum score of 79%.
