Learn how these concepts have shaped the individual as well as social, cultural, and political organization both historically and in our contemporary world. Students graduating with a women's and gender studies major have continued their education in graduate, law, and medical schools, and have embarked on opportunities and careers ranging from Capitol Hill to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, Teach for America, and the Peace Corps.
