Women and Gender Studies examines the importance of gender and feminisms in relation to issues such as race, class, sexuality, labor, colonialism, multiculturalism, and globalization. Students study how bodies, families, communities, and nations are gendered in specific cultural and historical locations; and investigate connections to their own lives, roles, and contributions.
Complete high school transcript and proof of high school graduation with Minimum 2.5 GPA. TOEFL iBT Total Score 61, or IELTS Overall Score 6.0. SAT score of 550 in Evidence Based Reading and Writing section, ACT English Score 22, Financial Affidavit Form, proof of finances, and passport copy, SAT and ACT scores are not required, but they may be helpful.
