An emphasis on health and physical fitness in the United States has created a large number of rewarding careers. The Exercise and Sports Studies major at Benedictine prepares you to enter these careers (without completing a teacher education program) or to pursue graduate study in Clinical Exercise Physiology. The program includes foundation courses in physical education; additional courses in current issues, sport administration, sport psychology, sport law, drugs in society and prevention and care of athletic injuries; and practical experience in the field.
