The Department of History offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and a concentration in public history, with specializations in American history, European history, women's history, East Asia, World War II and the Holocaust, Southern history and civil rights, and the history of terrorism -- to name a few.The department also contributes to the Harrison Honors Program, Leadership Studies, Asian Studies, and Pre-Law.The study of history is an excellent foundation for practically anything you want to do with your life. There is no such thing as studying too much history.
