When you pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Studio and Design, you ll choose a concentration in a specific area to prepare you for professional careers in art and design. You ll learn technical skills along with cultural foundations, and distinctive experiences needed to become an articulate artist and designer. Program offers the following Design and Media Arts emphasis areas: Photography, Time Arts, and Visual Communication. The Studio emphasis area offers these: Ceramics, Drawing, Fibers, Illustration, Metals and Jewelry, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture.

High School Diploma, Grades: have passing grades equivalent to a U.S. C+ average on all transcripts and/or exam scores, Completed NIU Application, Final Secondary School Transcript and/or Exam Results These documents must be official originals or attested copies, Proof of English Ability:TOEFL: Either an Internet-based or paper-based test.
